Kara serves as the Executive Director of the Fuller Youth Institute (FYI) and Associate Professor of Youth and Family Ministry.
Named by Christianity Today as one of “50 Women to Watch,” Kara is coauthor of Growing Young (2016) and has authored or co-authored many other books and curricula.
