It’s a compound of two latin words: luminis meaning “light” and exponentialis referring to exponential expansion or “multiplication.” We chose this combined word to represent the idea behind everything we do, namely multiplying the light of Christ.
By multiplying light as we multiply strong disciples, leaders and churches, we help fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
Mission Statement
Nurturing HERO* leaders to equip and send HERO disciples.
Values
Collaboration over cooperation; Systems over silver bullets; Clarity over convenience.
Strategy
Identity + Momentum = Vitality
Key Measures
HERO leaders nurtured; Pastoral transitions navigated; Churches growing in vitality.
*Hopeful, empowered, resilient, optimistic.
Luminex exists to serve pastors, staff members, lay leaders, and key contributors for churches and denominations of all shapes and sizes who believe that Jesus is Lord, that no one comes to the Father but through the Son, and that all churches have the potential to experience vitality - for the cause of Christ and to the glory of God.
Further, while our resources and services are effective in helping all churches optimize vitality, Luminex is especially drawn to journeying with willing churches and leaders who humbly and passionately yearn to make disciples, and are willing to make sacrifices for the sake of the mission.
In our experience, where there is a willingness, God makes a way. This is why we can say with assurance that there is hope for churches that have plateaued or are in decline; for churches that have lost sight of their God-given uniqueness; for churches that have suffered through seasons of conflict or unhealthy pastoral transitions; for pastors who are on the edge of burnout; and for leaders who are disillusioned with grasping at quick fixes that don’t last.
We have seen ample evidence that when there is willingness to move beyond what has been and what is, there is hope.
The Luminex Advantage comes from a world class, experienced core team augmented by a world class extended team of transition ministers and associates, and connected to a network of world class, proven strategic partners. The Luminex Advantage is about ...
