About
The
Luminex
Group
Leading a church in the current volatile and uncertain time is taking its toll on church leaders - pastors, elders, deacons, and ministry leaders. Many of these leaders are on the verge of burnout. COVID didn’t create the crisis; it only intensified it.
The Luminex Group exists to help churches and leaders make healthy progress in challenging times. We do this through personal coaching, equipping and encouragement. Very often, what pastors need most is someone to hear their struggles and help them realize they are not called to be “all things to all people.”
Churches are facing a crisis as well. Many are feeling stuck, unable to maintain healthy, effective ministries when everything around them is changing. The Luminex Group comes alongside these churches to facilitate conversations and fresh learning about their identity, calling, and mission in a changing world. We also provide processes to revive their ministries in light of their current context, so that they begin to see new opportunities in the change.
It’s a compound of two latin words: luminis meaning “light” and exponentialis referring to exponential expansion or “multiplication.” We chose this combined word to represent the idea behind everything we do, namely multiplying the light of Christ.
By multiplying light as we multiply strong disciples, leaders and churches, we help fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
Mission Statement: Luminex Group exists to serve pastors, staff members, lay leaders, and key contributors for churches and denominations of all shapes and sizes who believe that Jesus is Lord, that no one comes to the Father but through the Son, and that all churches have the potential to experience vitality - for the cause of Christ and to the glory of God with the following offerings...
Values: Collaboration over cooperation; Systems over silver bullets; Clarity over convenience.
Key Measures: Churches demonstrably growing into learning organizations; churches functioning with clarity of identity (mission, values, strategy, measures); churches implementing a visionary plan that is clear, concise, compelling, contextual and catalytic); pastoral transitions successfully navigated.
Luminex exists to serve pastors, staff members, lay leaders, and key contributors for churches and denominations of all shapes and sizes who believe that Jesus is Lord, that no one comes to the Father but through the Son, and that all churches have the potential to experience vitality - for the cause of Christ and to the glory of God.
Further, while our resources and services are effective in helping all churches optimize vitality, Luminex is especially drawn to journeying with willing churches and leaders who humbly and passionately yearn to make disciples, and are willing to make sacrifices for the sake of the mission.
In our experience, where there is a willingness, God makes a way. This is why we can say with assurance that there is hope for churches that have plateaued or are in decline; for churches that have lost sight of their God-given uniqueness; for churches that have suffered through seasons of conflict or unhealthy pastoral transitions; for pastors who are on the edge of burnout; and for leaders who are disillusioned with grasping at quick fixes that don’t last.
We have seen ample evidence that when there is willingness to move beyond what has been and what is, there is hope.
